Geography in Reception

As we move through the EYFS into Reception, the children develop their 'understanding the world' journey continuing the 'wait, watch & wonder' approach. This promotes child-led learning whilst enhancing opportunities using key questioning by the adults in the EYFS setting. This then enables further investigation and exploration into themes, which follow the Local, National & Global termly focus, such as: 'What is special about where we learn and play?', 'What is weather and how does it change throughout the year' and 'What is special about where we live?'
