In Year 4, we have two classes:
Class 4J - Mr. Vanstone
Class 4W - Mr. Wrigley
The classes are supported by Miss Tara
Dropping off and picking up:
All pupils in 4W will need to enter through the rear POD doors, near the astroturf, between 8:45am and 9:00am. Pupils in 4V will need to enter at the side gate closest to the barrier and meet Mr Vanstone by his classroom door. Pupils arriving after 9:00am will have to go to the office to sign in. It is vital for the pupils to arrive promptly as they will not want to miss out on the early doors activities and additional learning time. At 3:15pm, all children will need to be collected from the same place as drop-off.
PE
Year 4 now have PE ONCE a week on Tuesdays. Where possible, PE will be outside so please ensure they have tracksuit bottoms and a suitable top available now the weather has turned colder. Please also ensure that they come into school with the correct PE kit. All earrings are to be taken out for PE and children with long hair will be asked to tie their hair up.
Staying hydrated
Please ensure that your child comes to school with a water bottle so they can hydrate throughout the day. We ask that they do not bring in fizzy drinks, chocolate milk or energy drinks.
Multiplication Tables Check
In June, Year 4 pupils will undertake the Multiplication Tables Check. We will be preparing the children to take this test throughout the year and will be encouraging them to continue preparing at home by logging onto TT Rockstars.
