Community Share Hub

We undertstand that times are difficult at the moment for us all due to the cost of living crisis. We are passionate about supporting our families in school by helping to provide for the everyday items such as baby items such as milk, food and clothes, uniform, school shoes,general clothes, general footwear and toys. 

We now have a parent volunteer who will be supporting our share hub which will now be open on a Monday and Wednesday at 3pm-3:30pm. Please see below a personal introduction from our parent volunteer-

Hi,

I’m Stephanie. I’m a mum of two children with additional needs, and I’ve been part of Underwood west Academy community for the last 10 years as a parent. I also attended the school myself, so I understand both the school and the challenges families can face.

I know that times can be difficult, and sometimes asking for help can feel uncomfortable or overwhelming. The Hub is here to support families with things such as school uniform, clothes, and other essentials in a safe and non-judgemental way.

If there’s something we don’t currently have, we will always try our best to source it for you.
The aim of The Hub is simple — to support families, reduce stress, and make sure nobody feels alone or embarrassed for needing a bit of help.
