Starting School

If you wish to apply for a place in Reception for September 2025 at UWA, please use the application form that can be found on the Cheshire East Website:

Underwood West Academy joined the Aspire Trust on 1st December 2016 and the Governing Body is the admissions authority for the Academy. 

In line with the statutory duty of admissions authorities are to consult on amendments to admissions arrangements, please see the documents:

·Proposed AET Admissions Arrangements and Policy for 2026-2027 

which refers to admissions in September 2026 and onwards.

These are also available on the Aspire Educational Trust website.

As a statutory consultee, we invite you to comment on the proposals in the consultation period which will run for a 6-week period from, 4th October 2024.

Comments will be considered by the Board of Trustees of the Aspire Educational Trust after the consultation period ends on 15th November 2024 prior to determination and publication.
